Changelog

Every correction to an already-published number or source citation, dated and explained.

Built and maintained by Sudhanshu Rai, an independent researcher; not affiliated with any court, agency, or party. Descriptive measurement only — no causal claims.

A number changing between visits with no explanation is a harder trust problem than the correction itself, even when the correction was right — this page exists so that never happens silently.
Changelog

Data corrections, dated and explained

Every number on this site is re-derived from source documents by code, not typed in by hand (see About). When an already-published value or its source citation changes on a rebuild, that change is mechanically checked against this log before it can ship — a rebuild that changes a number with no matching entry here fails the project's own verification gate. New periods arriving for the first time are not corrections and are not listed here; only changes to something already published.

No corrections have been logged yet. This page will list every instance where an already-published value or source citation changed, dated and explained, as soon as one happens — not retroactively for this session's own build-and-audit work (that history is in the project's public commit log in full), but forward from here.

Status

How this log is kept honest

This log is forward-looking from when it shipped (2026-09-06), not a retroactive audit trail of every fix made before it existed — those are documented in full, dated commit messages in the project's public source history instead.

Competency Restoration Observatory (2026). Competency Restoration Observatory -- changelog. competencyrestoration.org · data current through n/a (this page logs corrections, not a dataset snapshot) · page generated August 2026 · concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21436450 (always resolves to the latest dataset version — a version-pinned DOI matching this exact data window follows at the next Zenodo release).

Every figure regenerates from the public source reports by code — fully reproducible. The Zenodo deposit already includes real, MIT-licensed extraction code for the frozen Washington/Oregon study (an extraction pipeline plus its own verification gate) — but this dashboard's own full 5-state codebase (adapted from that study's code, plus Colorado, Texas, and California from scratch) is a separate, not-yet-public repository. A dedicated "Build & Replicate" walkthrough page and that public release are both planned but not yet published.

Researchers, clinicians, monitors, and reporters welcome — especially if you know of more recent source reports for this state. Every correction to an already-published number is logged on the Changelog page and in this RSS feed — nothing changes silently.
